Welcome to the YMCA Camp Santa Maria 2012 Staff!
We are excited that you have chosen to spend your time with us at Camp Santa Maria. A summer at YMCA Camp Santa Maria is a life-shaping experience for campers and it is the goal of our staff to encourage a spirit of exploration and adventure in our campers. We also strive to create a safe environment and a community of friendship, understanding, and respect for campers and staff. We believe that our program at Camp Santa Maria provides a rare balance of education, fun,challenge, responsibility, and adventure.
On this page you will can access hiring paperwork as well as information to help you to prepare for camp. You will receive a 2012 Staff Manual, as well as pre-camp training items prior to the start of camp. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hiring Paperwork
Please complete and return the following paperwork.
- I-9 Tax Form You will need to bring documents, to complete the I-9 Form, with you to camp. A list of the acceptable documents is included on the back of the I-9 Form.
- W-4 Tax Form
- Direct Deposit Form with a Voided Check (if interested in having your paycheck directly deposited into an account)
- Emergency Contact Form
- Health History Form
- Staff Health Care Recommendation Form (with documentation of a physical exam current within the last 12 months of the last day of camp and signed by a licensed physician)
- Packing List
Included with your welcome letter (mailed to your home):
- Fingerprint Card (Complete fingerprint card using the instructions provided) *Fingerprints can be done at local law enforcement offices*
- Job Description
- Employee Handbook (Detach and sign the last page and keep the handbook)
Please provide a copy of the following:
- Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) – (If 21 years of age or older)
- Certifications (CPR, 1st Aid, WFR, Lifeguard, Medication Administration, certifications specific to activity areas, etc.)

In your Bio, please share about your education, camp experience, a little about what has inspired you to work at camp and other interests you might have.
