During their one-week session, Pathfinders are introduced to a variety of activities and are able to explore their interests with the help of positive and nurturing staff members and a supportive community of campers their own age.  In addition to activities with their cabin group, Pathfinders also participate in afternoon elective programs as well as fun evening programs with the whole camp.   

Session Dates (overnight resident camp – 1 week sessions)

Session 1: Is a Trekker and Adventurer session. There is no Pathfinder program in this session. 

Session 2: Sunday, June 24th – Saturday, June 30th
Session 3: Sunday, July 1st – Saturday, July 7th
Session 4: Sunday, July 8th – Saturday, July 14th
Session 5: Sunday, July 15th – Saturday, July 21st
Session 6: Sunday, July 22nd – Saturday, July 28th
Session 7: Sunday, July 29th – Saturday, August 4th   

 (Registration begins the first week of November 2011)

$595 YMCA Member Rate. $620 Non-Member Rate
$50 per weekend stayover (if registered for multiple sessions)

Register before January 31st and receive our Early Bird rate, $50 off per week.

Sample Activities

  • Boating – kayak and paddle boat at the lake, and play on the sandy beach
  • Swimming – splash around in Camp Santa Maria’s heated outdoor pool, with views of the mountainside
  • Nature Hikes – walk the scenic trails, winding through aspens and pines, learn about local flora and fauna
  • Arts and Crafts – get creative in the arts & crafts studio with fun projects
  • Group Games – fun games help us work together, have fun and get fresh air
  • Lodge and Meadow Games, Camp Store – ping pong, foosball and outdoor group games, snacks available at Camp Store
  • Electives – a selection of activities for campers to choose from each afternoon including fishing, archery, dance, yoga and more
  • Evening Programs – campfires, games and skits
  • Friendship Circle and Recognition – sing songs, spend time with cabinmates, and recognize campers who have positively affected camp that day.
