WHAT:

Swimming in the summer is a given. At Camp Santa Maria we have two places where we cool off, swim, and play in the water: Our heated pool and our lake. Campers take part in a swim check so our life guards can determine each camper’s swimming ability. Red Band is a non-swimmer. Yellow Band is an intermediate swimmer, and Green is an advanced swimmer.

If your camper is a “non-swimmer” they can still go in both the lake and the pool but in more limited areas. Any time campers are in the water we have lifeguards on duty.
