WHAT:

With over 1000 acres of camp property and the thousands of acres of National Forest that surrounds camp, campers have the opportunity to explore some amazing places while hiking. One of our popular hikes is up to the statue of Christ that stands above camp from the days when Santa Maria was a Catholic retreat center. Other popular hikes include heading to Phantom Ranch and going up the mountain on the Brandywine Trail. Campers also get a chance to go on nature walks and night hikes during their time here at camp. Some more adventurous groups may hike up to the plane crash site above camp in the mountains.

WHEN:

Hikes happen during electives, cabin time, evening activities, and whenever a group just wants to get out and explore!
