Reserve Camp Santa Maria for Your Retreat

We are located just 45 minutes west of the Denver-metro area. YMCA Camp Santa Maria is far away enough from the bright lights of the big city, but close enough to provide a perfect location that is both convenient and serene.  A variety of meeting areas and recreational opportunities will provide your group with a balance between studying, activity, meditation, fun, and growth.

Cabins:

Camp Santa Maria blends the rustic feel of outdoor camping with modern, well maintained facilities.  Each of our cabins sleeps up to 28 people, and is divided into 2 sides, creating 10 different sleeping areas. Our cabins accommodate groups of up to 140 people.   A bathhouse is centrally located.

Common Indoor Areas:

A variety of indoor meeting spaces are available. 

St. John’s Hall is a large group area, featuring hardwood floors, large windows, bathrooms, and a stage. 

A traditional Chapel is located on property. 

An Art Room, with windows looking out over the property is an excellent small group meeting area. There is an additional room located off the Arts and Crafts room that can also be used.

The Dining Hall is a large area furnished with tables and chairs, and is also available as a large group meeting space.

Outdoor Spaces:

Endless opportunities to explore the outdoors are available, including hiking trails, a lake with sandy beach, fishing pond, the South Platte River, campfire ring, a sports field, grassy meadow areas, basketball court, and outdoor swimming pool (seasonal).

Meals:

Nutritious and delicious meals are provided in our Dining Hall either family style or buffet style.  We strive to accommodate dietary needs and preferences. There are times of the year when we do not have a food service crew available. During those times we can connect you with local catering options.

We do allow groups to bring their own cooks or chefs to use our commercial kitchen.

Technology:

We are in a remote location. Cell phone reception is not 100% reliable. We do have 2 computers that are available for guest use, and due to the nature of satellite internet is slow. We also have limited wi-fi capability. We can provide limited  audio visual equipment for groups with advanced notice.

Group Rates:

Housing Costs:
First 50 guests – $35 per person/per night

51-80 guests – $30 per person/per night

80 or more guests – $25 per person/per night

Meal Costs:
Breakfast – $7 per person
Lunch – $8 per person
Dinner – $9 per person
