Volunteer

Each YMCA across the nation is volunteer founded, volunteer led and volunteer based. Collectively, YMCAs are the largest not-for-profit organizations in the nation and benefit from the leadership of more than 600,000 volunteers. The YMCA of Boulder Valley and Camp Santa Maria are no different. Currently, the YMCA of Boulder Valley has 2,067 volunteers that range in responsibility from policy making to campaigners to youth sport coaches to group exercise instructors.

Volunteering at the YMCA of Boulder Valley can help make a difference in your community, support a cause you believe in and put your skills and experience to work. Volunteering can also help you make new friends and develop professional contacts, help you to become part of the community, reduce stress and build confidence. Community Support Campaign

Every year the Y of Boulder Valley raises money to be able to provide financial support to our members who have financial challenges and otherwise would not be able to participate in our programs. We provide support to 30% of our participants in many of our programs including Camp Santa Maria. If you have the means to help us meet our $340,000 Community Support Campaign goal, please use the Donate Now button below. Thank you!

Every day the YMCA reaches out to those in need. We rely on community support to do this. Each year staff members and volunteers raise funds to help make camp programs accessible to all families through our Community Support Campaign. Your contribution to the Community Support Campaign funds scholarships for campers to experience YMCA Camp Santa Maria each year.
